Ben is dressed warmly for the chilly central Asian winter. With soft velvet cords he wears a garter stitch jumper, basket weave scarf and pull-on striped hat – and of course a hand-knitted back-pack that is big enough to hold a book and a snack. For slightly warmer days, a sleeveless hand-knitted vest adds warmth to his simple white t–shirt. Comfortable cords, felt boots and a brimmed felt hat complete the look.
