We are often asked to create individual outfits for our hand made felt dolls – frequently versions of these dolls go on to become a part of our range of finished dolls. Each doll in this series is dressed stylishly with a specific occasion or event in mind . Outfits draw upon various textile traditions, particularly hand knitting and are put together with the same care and thought that goes into the creation of all ak adult clothing and accessories. We use only high quality, natural fibres, handmade wool felt, hand finishing and vibrant, distinctive ‘ak colours’. All outfits are interchangeable and designed to work together making it easy to purchase or create additional pieces as gifts. Some of the dolls depicted on the following pages are effectively one-off but subject to availability may be ordered –others wear combinations of routinely available ak dolls clothes and come in numerous colour combinations that can be easily adapted to suit individual taste.
